The client is an e-commerce vendor receiving hundreds of purchase orders monthly with expectation of extremely fast reaction time. The orders are received from various sources, including online purchases and email purchases with clients communicating with operators.
Optimization of the overall business process efficiency and proper internal and external resource utilization was part of primary client’s motivations to develop a custom ordering system.
The new system orchestrates all the activities between operators and clients and also between operators and vendors. It also provides a set of business analytical reports and KPI measurements to allow the client to better control and further streamline the process ongoing.
The Ordering System is based on a modern stack of J2EE technologies and brings its user a rich web interface accessible from internet browsers.
